Overmarine sold the first Mangusta GranSport 33 hull just a few months after the model debutedin Miami. The US owner will receive the boat next year. She will make her world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2020.

Mangusta GranSport 33 is the smallest and nominally the smallest member of the range of fast displacement yachts.

The GranSport series was created by AM Yacht Design AlbertoMancini in collaboration with Overmarine.

«This deal confirms that our project, developed with a focus on achieving a perfect mix of design and modern technology, is an interesting and attractive one. We were looking forward to its success, but nevertheless we were surprised by how quickly we moved from the presentation phase with renders and videos to the actual closing of the deal»," says Mangusta Commercial Director Francesco Frediani .

The Mangusta GranSport 33 has an enviablely spacious flybridge divided into two areas: aft with sunbeds and a bar protected by a hardtop and forward with a sofa, dinette table and Jacuzzi.

GranSport 33 welcomes its guests with a broad platform by the water at the stern. Here you can simply sit or to have a snack - it is provided for outside eating.

A bright saloon on the main deck features floor-to-ceiling windows, two of which can be opened to allow natural light to enter. Two of them can be opened to allow natural air circulation. The galley adjacent to the saloon allows for quick service.

In addition to the master suite on the main deck forward, there are four further en-suite guest cabins on the lower deck. A variety of layouts are available. The interior layout will be individually styled according to the client's preferences. The owner of the first Mangusta Gransport 33 is currently busy working with Overmarine to fit and decorate the interior spaces.

Her draft of only 1.9 meters allows her to sail in shallow water, which usually requires tenders: Bahamas in winter and the Hamptons in summer are no problem.

The GranSport 33 is equipped with an innovative propulsion system that allows a maximum speed of 26 knots. Vibration and noise levels are kept to a minimum.

The advanced nature of the Mangusta GranSport 33 is felt in everything and everywhere. For example, there are Joystick Docking and dynamic positioning systems.

Mangusta points out that the nine Maxi Open Series yachts delivered in the US over the past six years is an indication of how well the American market has embraced the brand's products.
