The arsenal of support vessels of the Dutch shipyard Damen was enlarged by almost 46-meter Joy Rider. The owner should receive the boat in September, when the world premiere of Joy Rider will take place at the Monaco Yacht Show 2019.

The boat is ideal for those with a thirst for adventure, seeking to explore remote corners of the planet, amazing wildlife and the underwater world.

The Joy Rider is capable of carrying all sorts of water toys, submarines and tenders, accepting rotorcraft on the helipad. And to do it all without prejudice to the comfort of those on board. «Equipped to accommodate up to six guests and a crew of seven,» has a spacious
lounge on the main deck and a comfortable sun deck
.

Damen engineers have implemented «wet» exhaust, put soundproofing covers on the generators, took care of ventilation and air conditioning, favouring a system with chillers and fan coils. The support vessel also had a huge refrigerator-freezer compartment and a fuel tank, for extremely long sea passages.

Power is provided by a pair of Caterpillar C32 TTA engines that allow reaching the maximum speed of 16.5 knots. She is guaranteed a cruising range of 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.
