A new word in sailing - foil-walk instead of the famous keel-walk demonstrated by Alex Thompson and copied by other sailors. Safran is one of two new IMOCA Open 60 boats equipped with lateral "wings" (the other is Banque Populaire). They are designed to lift the hull when the boat comes to planes. Their performance will be judged very soon at the Rolex Fastnet Race, where Safran and Banque Populaire will compete with the other IMOCA class titans, PRB, Groupe Quéguiner and SMA.
