Neferat Ra is a further development of the ideas behind Wally's design of Angel's Share, a 100-foot boat. It was created for an experienced yachtsman (a famous German architect) and was the third boat designed by Herrmann Frerer Senior for the same client. Soon after her launch, she demonstrated her outstanding qualities by winning a number of prestigious regattas. An interesting feature of the boat is that its forward owner's cabin has not one but two wide bunks. The reasons for this wish of the owner remain unknown. In 2010, the yacht underwent a major refit of the onboard electronics, during which all navigation, communication and audiovisual equipment was replaced. She is currently for sale since the owner is looking forward to a new boat, also from Wally, which has been renamed Wally Love.
