The all-aluminum Sarastar is Mondomarine's flagship. She was first shown in public during the Monaco Yacht Show 2017. She was named after the owner's wife Sarah.
Interior and exterior design
The boat has an atypical streamlined hull with an overtly sporty look, while the interiors are more than traditional for superyachts and are distinguished by unmatched luxury and comfort.
The materials used are not simply expensive but very expensive, such as marble, crystal, silk by Stefano Ricci and semi-precious stones like white onyx for more convincing image of the yacht.
The public areas are designed in the same color scheme, while the staterooms have unique color schemes.
Onboard amenities
The layout with two saloons and a spacious central atrium looks classic, with three decks connected by a glass and metal staircase «suspended from».
The main outdoor seating area, the Sundeck, is divided into an aft lounge area with a fitness room and a forward dining area with a bar.
The master suite has a reclining balcony.
Features
A characteristic feature is the transformable bow area. When closed it serves as a tender garage, when open it works as a dance floor or helipad.
A curious fact from Sarastar's biography: in August 2018, the boat starred in the movie «Murder Mystery», starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. For the sake of the affair the superyacht has been temporarily renamed Mediterranean Queen («Mediterranean Queen»). It seems her short but very colorful movie career has further piqued the interest of those looking for something big and luxurious to charter.
