Alix is an all-carbon version of the famous Swan 90S designed by Herrmann Frerer Sr. The boat was ordered by a longtime client of Nautor's Swan, for whom this is the third yacht built at the Finnish shipyard. The lightweight construction of the yacht is racing-ready and the advanced hydraulic equipment means she can be raced with a crew of only three (while in racing mode the boat can carry a crew of up to 20). The interior of the yacht is very typical of the Finnish shipyard and is characterized by a very full use of interior space. Instead of traditional teak, the interior has a special darkened wood of European oak.
