For improved stability in swells, a SeaKeeper 9 or 18 is recommended, with the SeaKeeper 18 being a particularly valuable addition for enhancing comfort both underway and at anchor.
The driving position on the X70 is well-designed, with clearly laid out controls, touch screens for navigation and engine information, and an adjustable steering wheel. The helm seat is comfortable and adjustable, though it would benefit from a more user-friendly sliding mechanism.

The X70 offers two engine options: IPS 1200 with 900 horsepower per side and IPS 1350 with 1000 horsepower per side. Given the boat's weight and potential additional load from cruising equipment, the IPS 1350 is recommended.
