Presenting the Princess Y80, the latest addition to the Y-class range. This model shares a hull and lower deck with the X80, but from there up, it showcases the distinctive Y-class design. It features new design touches in the interior and four cabins on the lower deck.
On Deck
The transom area features a hydraulic bathing platform that can stow a tender and other water toys. The standout feature is the Infinity cockpit, offering a glass section that provides an unobstructed view of the water. There are three layout options for the cockpit: a fixed bench with a table, freestanding furniture, or the Infinity cockpit setup with a glass transom. The stainless steel elements and design curvature integrate beautifully, maintaining a strong connection to the water.
Moving along the starboard side, wide side decks provide safe and easy access to the foredeck. There are storage lockers for lines and fenders, a large sofa under the windscreen, and an optional sun pad. Additionally, a cooler can be installed for convenience. Twin winches and anchors are located forward, along with separate anchor lockers.
Flybridge
The flybridge offers an expansive space with various layout options. It can be configured with sun pads, L-shaped seating, freestanding furniture, or even a spa bath. The hardtop can be customized with glass panels or a vane sunroof. Seating is plentiful, including a large dining area and sun pads that can be extended. The helm station is well-designed, with ample space and excellent visibility. Performance-wise, the Y80 is equipped with 1800, 1900, or 2000 horsepower MAN engines, achieving a top speed of 35 knots.
Interior
Inside, the Princess Design Studio has created a luxurious and elegant space. The main deck features porcelain tops and a move away from glass to more practical materials. The saloon offers ample floor space, large windows, and integrated storage. The dining table can be slid towards the window for more space during passage.
The midship galley provides a central, sociable space, with options to close it off if needed. It includes full-height Sub-Zero fridge/freezer, dishwasher, induction cooking, and ample storage. A day head is conveniently located near the helm, and an elevated seating area allows passengers to join the journey comfortably.
Accommodation
The lower deck layout mirrors that of the X80, featuring a lobby area with optional washer/dryer. The starboard guest cabin offers a double bed and en-suite, while the port side twin cabin also includes an en-suite. The forward VIP cabin boasts significant storage, a bureau, and a private bathroom.
The owner’s cabin amidships provides a full-beam space with a large desk, plenty of clearance, and excellent storage, including a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom. This layout ensures good insulation from the machinery space.
Crew Accommodation and Engine Room
The crew area includes a twin cabin with L-shaped berths, a single bunk cabin, and a bathroom with a separate shower cubicle. The washer/dryer is located here as well. The engine room is accessed via a watertight door and features spacious and well-lit surroundings, housing the MAN V12 engines, air conditioning, hydraulics, water treatment systems, and twin generators.
