Swan Overshadow, designed by Natas Swan in collaboration with designer Jaako Jamsen, combines the iconic sleek and stylish lines of the Swan brand with modern motor yacht capabilities. This vessel reflects Swan's heritage while embracing the flexibility and functionality required for both professional and recreational use.

Design and Features

The Swan Overshadow features a hull that maintains the proportions and structure typical of Swan's sailing yachts. The aft platform measures 3.9 meters by 80 cm and is hydraulic with three positions: driving, swimming, and boarding. The aft section includes a large sun deck and engine room access. The deep gunwales and the teak finishes showcase the meticulous craftsmanship.

The main living area is shaded by an electronically operated carbon and canvas structure, providing a private lounge feel with L-shaped seating and two sofas around a central teak table. The helm station on the starboard side is equipped with Volvo Penta electronic throttles, two 16-inch Garmin displays, and a joystick, ensuring easy and efficient navigation.

Interior

Below deck, the Swan Overshadow offers two different layouts: one with a large full-beam double bed and another with two single beds. Both layouts include a separate bathroom with a retractable toilet and thoughtful design elements to maximize space and comfort. The interior design, in collaboration with the Navia studio, emphasizes elegance and functionality.

Performance

The hull design features a twin V configuration, optimized for stability and efficiency. The boat reaches a comfortable cruising speed of 22.5 knots, consuming 70 liters per hour at 2510 RPM. With a maximum speed capability exceeding 40 knots, the Swan Overshadow demonstrates impressive performance, making it suitable for long-range navigation while remaining sporty and fun.

At 15 knots, the boat consumes 63 liters per hour, providing an efficient cruising option. The hull's design ensures that it remains stable and responsive even at higher speeds. The carbon fiber hardtop and inboard engine placement contribute to a low center of gravity, enhancing the boat's stability and handling.
