The Comet 52RS was the firstborn in the series of boats with raised saloon (hence RS - raised saloon) at Comar. The silhouette of the yacht was modern and dynamic - the company did not go the way of the device on the deck of the developed superstructure, but preferred to organize a small streamlined deckhouse. As a result, the boat began to resemble a lot Jeanneau 50DS- the question of who borrowed the idea from whom remains open. As one famous domestic designer put it on a similar occasion, there was an "information diffusion".
The boat still continues the tradition of branded "crossovers": the interiors and deck layout of the yacht are designed for long cruising trips, hull and sailing weapons are suitable for gambling.
