The Nordship 40 DS is a fairly good compromise between time-tested solutions and modern ideas. A number of yacht publications describe it as a bad weather «cruiser»and it is so well adapted to severe weather conditions. It is a solid long range boat, with a very robust and durable hull and extremely comfortable living spaces. The interior layout is typical of a number of expensive North European cruisers with raised salon architecture - only two spacious cabins, a comfortable salon, an additional coffee «table outside the salon, a»galley in a separate compartment away from the salon.
The entire layout of the controls in the cockpit is made in such a way that any operations and maneuvers can be performed by the helm alone, without impeding its guests.
