Shipman 63 Overview
Shipman 63 became the second model of the shipyard, replacing the Shipman 50, which was not quite a successful firstborn. Bad contours and balancing resulted in a lightweight yacht literally throwing herself into the wind so that the helm could not control her. The Shipman 63 had this flaw corrected and her contours had been thoroughly analysed.
The yacht is extremely lightweight, very richly equipped, has high speed and is easily controlled by one person. Her controllability and cockpit layout was developed with the participation of the famous single French yachtsman
