The Riva 122 Mythos is the company's flagship and, with a length of 37.5 metres, becomes a superyacht. Officina Italiana Design, AYT&D (Advanced Yacht Technology & Design) have been involved in the responsible design of Mythos. The interior design and naval architecture were the responsibility of the technical department of the CRN shipyard, a recognized authority on superyacht construction.
The layout of the residential deck of the superyacht includes 3, 4 or 5 sleeping cabins. Only the owner's suite in the centre of the hull, which is 7.6 metres wide, and the crew quarters in the bow with a cabin company and galley, remain unaltered.
The 27-knot cruising speed of the Riva Mythos is ensured by two powerful MTU 12 V 4000 M 93L engines.
The Riva 122 Mythos is not only the largest yacht ever built by the Riva shipyard, but also the company's first fully aluminium hull. According to Ferruccio Rossi, head of the Ferretti Group, of which Riva is part, the 35-ton superyacht opens a new chapter in the 172-year history of the shipyard.
