Southerly 47 is another of the relatively recent models. Once again - an attempt to find a different corporate style - it is clearly visible in the shape of the cabin and the lines of the portholes. Otherwise, the boat remains faithful to its signature traditions: a fractional sailing weapon with a narrow automatic jib and a large mainsail, a lifting keel and internal ballast, two rudder pens and a very strong and rigid hull.
Of course, this yacht can also be left to dry broke, like other Southerly models. The high cockpit coamings keep the crew from splashing and make your stay in the cockpit safer.
