In the Chaparral Vortex range, the VRX version acts as an uncompromising athlete. Even if the engines are the same as those on the VR models, but with a few touches included in the basic package, the designers gave these boats a very catchy look. The wakeboard arch is very handy here: a water-jet boat for water skiing and various boards is the safest kind of towboat due to the lack of a rotating propeller. The sportiness of the boat is accentuated by the graphics on the boards and the color scheme of the trim - soft turquoise, lime or yellow.
With the only waterjet engine offered by the manufacturer Rotax 4-TEC 250 ECT, the 203 Vortex VRX has an output time of 4.2 seconds. The boat gains 27 knots in just over 7 seconds, and its maximum speed is almost 40 knots. Fuel consumption is 68 litres per hour, which is quite acceptable for a water-jet unit with initially low efficiency.
