Beneteau Oceanis Yacht 62 is a long cruising family yacht with a large volume but still compact enough to be operated without a hired crew.
Exterior and interior design
The project was developed in cooperation with Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design, the interiors were designed by Andreani Design studio. In 2017 the yacht received the European Yacht of the Year Award.
Facilities on board
All cabins aboard Oceanis Yacht 62's 3 cabins have their own bathrooms. The master suite is spacious and optionally equipped with a study or sofa. The galley is equipped with a two-door fridge, microwave, dishwasher, ice machine and large storage capacity. A 4-cabin version of the layout and a crew cabin in the bow of the boat can be ordered. On deck, guests will find 6 sunbathing areas.
Features
The hydraulically opening transom forms a bathing platform and facilitates operations with the tender, which is stored in the aft garage. Hidden aft, the cockpit galley with grill and sink can be reached with one hand. The hard bimini protects the cockpit from weather and heat and can be carried by solar panels or a wind generator. The Oceanis Yacht 62 is designed for a small crew and includes an automatic staysail, genoa, mainsail (in lats or in a twist), spinnaker, code 0 and a set of storm sails.
Sailing region
Like other models in the brand, the Oceanis Yacht 62 is certified for ocean voyages. Precipitation - customer choice of 2.35 m or 2.98 m. For coastal voyages, the yacht can take up to 16 people on board.
