X-Yachts Xc 38 Overview
The Xc 38 is the smallest yacht in the Xc cruise line-up, but retains all the features of its larger sisters. This range is characterized by sharper rims that allow for gentle cruising on a steep wave, larger interior volumes and more powerful engines. The increased displacement is compensated for by the increased sailing area, but this cannot compensate for the increased wet surface - as a result, in very weak winds, the Xc series is no match for its Xp sisters.
The Xc 38, however, despite its relatively small size, is a true long-range cruiser: it is a solidly built seaworthy boat suitable for cruising any complexity.
She was named European Yacht of the Year in the Luxury Cruiser category for her high quality.
