Exterior and Interior Design
In 2016 the French shipyard Fountaine Pajot launched a new sailing catamaran Lucia 40 to replace the Lavezzi 40 and Lipari 41. Among the boats from other manufacturers in the 40-foot class, the model is one of the most spacious. The multihull was designed by the famous Berret-Raccoupeau Yacht Design studio.
Amenities on board
On the 11.73-meter boat, the cockpit occupies 12 squares, while there is another 3 sq.m. with sun loungers on the foredeck and a net. The salon has a well-planned space, there is plenty of free space, and there is a kitchen, a soft corner and a skipper's table. The layout is available with three or four cabins (charter version).
Features .
The French have tried to maximize the boat's handling. All basic manipulations can be done from the helm post. If necessary, you can quickly climb up to the roof to access the boom.
Swimming area
On the Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40 you can walk on the ocean and even make transatlantic crossings. Probably, the only drawback of the model was the fuel tank for 300 liters, although to cope with a little wind or go to the marina of this volume should be enough.
