The first hull of the Sanlorenzo SL78 came off the slipway in 2016.
Interior and exterior design
The successful Sanlorenzo SL78 flybridge yacht was designed by Officina Italiana Design together with the yard's design department. Like the SL86's older sister, the boat has large windows on the main deck, making the already large interior spaces even more spacious. The boat is available in a semi-deck version with a choice of interiors and a layout of sub-deck space.
Amenities on board
The main recreation area was certainly the flybridge with a shaded dining room, minicab and sun loungers. The main deck has a bathing platform, a terrace aft and a lounge on the forward deck.
In hot or windy weather, shelter is provided in the saloon, which also has a dining area and a full kitchen. It is followed by the main control station - Raised Pilothouse.
Features .
Almost all equipment (except engines, of course) is electrically powered, including rocker stabilizers, bow thrusters and zero speed system. There is therefore no need to keep the engines running at all times. A pleasant bonus was the availability of a tender garage for 3.85-meter Williams (for landing in shallow water or on an unequipped shore).
Swimming area
The SL78 is certified for access to the ocean, but due to the small stock of fuel and «voracious» engines, it is more suitable for traveling on warm seas such as the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico, etc.
