Since its launch in 2007, this model of the Overmarine shipyard remains the fastest fiberglass mega yacht in the open class. This impressive 50 metre Mangusta 165 owes her impressive speed to three MTU 4609 hp engines each and Kamewa water jets.
In 2014, the Mangusta 165 got a new propulsion system based on four engines with a total power of 10400 hp and four water jets. The use of new generation engines allowed to reduce the weight of the boat and fuel consumption - at speeds of 20-30 knots it gives savings up to 35%. The modified version of Mangusta 165 received a letter E (Evolution).
The Mangusta 165 is not inferior to the "usual" three-deck yacht in terms of interior volume. The living deck will provide maximum comfort for up to 12 guests - however, the layout of the yacht naturally depends on the client's wish. The Crew-mess is designed for 9 crew members and has a separate entrance.
