The Azimut 50, a stylish and modern flybridge yacht was the overall winner in the 'best over 45 feet' category at the European Powerboat of the Year awards 2015 held at the International Boat Show in Dusseldorf. The model impressed the jury with its well thought-out layout which managed to bring many of the features of its larger sister the Azimut 80 to a boat a full 10 meters smaller. Exterior and Interior Design
It is immediately noticeable that the Azimut 50 was developed by Mediterranean designers. The boat has a lot of open spaces - a solarium on the foredeck, a terrace, a hydraulic platform at the stern, and, of course, relaxation areas on the flybridge where you can gather for entertainment or to sunbathe. Unlike the Azimut 50 Galley Up model, the galley is equipped on the lower deck. The midship master cabin features an en-suite bathroom and large closets and accommodation for up to four guests is given in two further cabins and a second bathroom.

The yacht is suitable for week-long cruises and will be of interest to both experienced yachters and beginners, especially given the ability to hire and accommodate an experienced captain. A pair of 725hp Volvo D11s give the boat an enviable top speed of 32 knots while at cruising speeds of 25 knots the Azimut 50 will give you a range of 265 nautical miles.
