Dutch shipyard Van Der Valk has unveiled the first details of its new 32m design with an elevated wheelhouse. If built, the boat will be the second largest yacht built by the yard, after the 36.8m Continental IV Santa Maria T.

The stylish exterior of the Raised Pilothouse 32M was created by the designer Nick Top and studio Guido de Groot, while the naval architecture was developed by the yard's design office.

«This innovative yacht meets the owner's most desirable wishes with a modern profile harmonized with unobtrusive classical elements», stated the manufacturer.

The boat can accommodate nine guests in five cabins, including a full-beam 7-metre-wide master suite on the lower deck. However, six berths will be available for the crew.

With the raised wheelhouse, the VIP stateroom occupies the entire forward section of the main deck, offering privileged passengers a splendid sea view.

The all-aluminum yacht will be powered by twin MTU 12V2000 M96L engines, giving her a top speed of 24 knots.

In addition the yard is now working on its brand new Beach Club range, which was announced over a year ago. This range, which has been developed by the studio, has recently been extended with a 30m (131ft) and a 120ft (500ft). Cor D RoverBeach Club 1000 is the latest addition to the 30m Beach Club range.
