According to Hanse's concept, the four new yachts - 348, 388, 418 and 548 - symbolize the four basic elements: fire, water, air and earth.

«fire» refers to sunlight, the amount of which in the interior of the new models has been increased by a larger number of portholes and skylights.

«Water» is good hydrodynamics, which judel/vrolijk & co have worked on. The new boats have a slim L-shaped keel and the rudders are pre-balanced for more upwind course lift.

In addition, the yachts are equipped with taller masts and the sail area is increased («air»). When the wind is too much, the sails can be easily retracted with a single-line fluting system.

The modern interiors of the new models are designed by Roseo Design. Buyers can expect more comfort and luxury on board («land»).

The top of the new range, the 16.2m Hanse 548, has two foredecks, twelve opening deck hatches, a hydraulic swim platform and a garage.

An innovative system «smart boat» is used on board, which allows you to check the status and control electrics and electronics from a touchscreen placed in the cabin.

The optional cockpit area includes an additional pair of sofas and a wet bar with sink, fridge and barbecue. A variety of cover options are available to protect this area from the weather, ranging from a hardtop to a canvas awning. A ladder can be built into the transom for easy access to the swim platform, a unique feature on a boat of this size.

There are four cabins on board as standard. The master stateroom is located at the bow of the boat. To starboard aft is a VIP cabin with a king size bed and ensuite bathroom. To starboard is a double cabin. Another small cabin with a bunk bed amidships to starboard. All cabins have direct access to a salon with dining area and a well-equipped island kitchen.

Prices for the base model of the new range - the 10.4m Hanse 348 - start from €91.900.

The top-of-the-range Hanse 548, nominated for the «European Boat of the Year 2018 award», starts at € 349,000. The world premiere of the new range will take place at the Cannes Boat Show.
