The Riva 90' Argo flybridge gliding yacht from the Ferretti Group makes its debut at the Palm Beach International Boat Show. The latest addition to the Riva line, Riva 90' Argo was presented at Miami's Zuma restaurant in Japan during a special event on 9 March. Shining in the spotlight«Argo» to the chords of Queen's hit song «We Are the Сhampions» was moored at the entrance of the restaurant between Riva 66' Ribelle and Riva 100' Corsaro.

«We unveiled the Riva Corsaro in Hong Kong, the 110' Dolce Vita in Monte Carlo and decided it was the right time to have the world premiere of a beautiful boat like this in America», said Ferretti Group boss Alberto Galassi.

The name, Argo, is derived from Greek mythology and refers to the ship used by the Argonauts that sailed to the coast in search of the Golden Fleece in the fourteenth century B.C.

The 27.4m Riva 90' Argo has been designed by Ferretti's engineering department in close collaboration with the design office Officina Italiana. She features a sun deck with a generous amount of volume normally found only on larger yachts and a large master suite located on the main deck. Meanwhile, there are five guest cabins on the lower deck. However, the layout can be altered to suit individual preferences.

The water toys garage is large enough to house a Williams 395 tender and jet ski.

«Riva 90' is very sleek and yet quite large and spacious. Her contours are harmonious, sporty and elegant and the look brilliantly embodies the Riva DNA. A perfect contemporary contemporary match between interior and exterior»," comments Mauro Micheli , chief designer for Officina Italiana.

Officina Italiana Design CEO Sergio Beretta adds: « We think the Riva 90 will be particularly in demand in the East - thanks to its on-trend, avant-garde look».

The first hull of Riva 90' Argo is equipped with two MTU 16V 2000 M93 engines with an output of 2,400 horsepower. She can reach speeds of up to 30 knots. Alternatively, the MTU 12V 2000 M96L with 1,921 hp is available. Optionally, the yacht can be ordered with Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilizers.

Note that the construction of the flagship 50m Riva is currently in its final stages at Ancona .
