Their initiative was immediately accompanied by the success and recognition of buyers. The decision to focus on the production of luxury boats was made in the 1980s. Successful development allowed the shipyard to enter the markets of North America, Europe and the Caribbean. In 2012 Ferretti was taken over by the Chinese engineering corporation Weichai Group.

Production
The company is based on the Adriatic coast of Italy in Forli. The production is oriented to work with modern composite materials and uses components from leading manufacturers. The use of XFT (Cross Fiber Technology) has helped the shipyard to increase hull strength by 16% and reduce weight.
Model range
Now Ferretti is a gliding yacht with a modern design flybridge. The hulls with V-shaped contours are made of fiberglass and are equipped with a stationary propulsion system. Their lengths range from 14 to 29 meters. For 2019, the flagship of the yard is the Ferretti 960 with five cabins and MTU engines up to 2638 horsepower, the most compact being the three cab Ferretti 450.
Features .
