This week Monaco was transported back to the time of the Belle Epoque. Ladies in long gowns and feathered hats and their gentlemen in cylinders and white shirts drove around the city in vintage cars, and around the harbour in classic boats to the sound of gramophones. 115 yachts participated in the 12th edition of Monaco Classic Week: 52 sailing yachts, 52 12-foot dinghies, 21 motor boats and 5 classic yachts. The oldest participant of the regatta is gaff tender Partridge, the youngest one is Italian team Il Moro di Venezia that participated in America’s Cup in 1992.
