The victory of New Zealander Phil Robertson ended Russian stage of World Championship in M32 class - Match Cup Russia - that took place in St. Petersburg. Viktor Serezhkin's Gazprom Team Russia showed the best result among Russians. The team got into the main draw of the competition and fought with the crew of Sweden's Mans Holmberg - 1:2. The regatta turned out to be very spectacular, with several rollovers during the qualifying stage due to the strong wind and heavy rain with rainbow in the final.
