Sir Ben Ainsley 's Land Rover BAR has won the America's Cup World Series. This gives the British team two extra points for the next stage of the competition, the qualifying regatta series, which begins on 26 May 2017 in Bermuda. The British participation in the America's Cup is under the slogan "Bring the Cup home!". Britain was the first country to host this oldest sailing competition in 1851, but has never won it.
