The 39.5m boat from New Zealand-based Yachting Developments touched down in Auckland on 23 November. Her owner, an international class sportfisherman, will receive the vessel for his 'dream fish' later in the year. The exterior of the sportfisherman's yacht has been designed by Michael Peters Yacht Design, while the interior is a modern classic by Naylor Booth Associate in close collaboration with the owner. The layout provides four cabins with bunks for 10 people on the lower deck, including the master suite and cabins for six crew members. The boat's size will allow her to be fitted with commercial grade engines and systems. The boat is equipped with a pair of 3100 hp MTU diesels and VEEM gyrostabilizers. The main features are a games room on the lower deck, a tender garage that accommodates a pair of Smuggler Strata RIBs and an extended cockpit that has been left half-empty for easy unloading of the catch, which can be sampled at a large table set up on the open foredeck.
