How the National Sailing League's top and children's divisions competed in Stage II

Sailing competitions of all-Russian scale were first held in Tuapse.
The judges had 11 races in one day. In this case, each team participated in 3-5 starts.
The best result was shown by the Black Sea crew, who won 3 out of 4 races. One victory also went to NAVIGATOR Trem, ZID Art Sailing team, OSK, RUS7, St. Petersburg Yacht Club Sailing Academy team, Calipso and leaders of the 1st stage of the National Sailing League competitions - ArtTube RUS1 and «Ahmat».
As a result, at the end of the first day the three leaders of the competition in Tuapse were Black Sea, NAVIGATOR and RUS7.
On the second day, the weather was completely ruined. If the wind was unpredictable the day before, it was gone now. Tuapse was in the zone of calm and only thanks to the persistence of judges in the afternoon it was possible to catch the rare strengthening of the wind to 2-3 knots and with grief fell to 4 races.
Three teams, including the leaders of the first day of Black Sea never participated in any race. 10 teams started once each, eight managed to do it twice, and only two lucky ones - three times.
Despite the bad day, Black Sea managed to keep the first place in the standings and NAVIGATOR Trem was second and RUS7 third.
ZID art Sailing team and Burevestnik Sailing Team (former Leviathan team) added one victory each to their moneybox.
On the third day of the competition, the weather finally stabilized. The yachtsmen enjoyed the sun and the wind at 6-10 knots. Sometimes it even blows up to 12 knots. There were 9 races in just one day. Black Sea managed to keep the first place in the ranking until the end of the competition. And then there were some changes in the table. Competitions 2-1-1 allowed the team «Akhmat» to take the second place and pushed NAVIGATOR Trem to the third. ZID Art Sailing team in its turn showed the result 1-1-2 and outperformed RUS7, which, thus, was not even in 4th place, but only in 5th. X-Fit, CSKA, Parusnik74.ru and the Burevestnik Sailing Team had one victory each on the final day.
In the children's division the competition was held for two days: April 20 and 21. The «Optimists» did not catch the difficult Friday weather. The leaders were determined after four races on the first day. By the end of the competition, after 9 races six winners and winners of both boys and girls have not changed.
«Varvara Yuryeva and Alisa Kukanova took gold» and «silver» of the competition to Gelendzhik. «The bronze» went to the competition «hostess» Polina Redko. In the general standings with boys the girls took 2, 6 and 9 places respectively.
Among the boys, the best was Artem Cherpita from Sevastopol. He also took first place in the overall standings with the girls. «Silver» and «bronze» went to young yachtsmen from Gelendzhik: Grigory Elizarov and Anatoly Kondratyuk. In the general standings they are on 3rd and 4th places.

Tuapsehosted the National Sailing League for the first time. Regattas of the Higher and Children's Divisions were held in the water area of the city from April 19 to 21.

23 teams of 3 to 5 people from 11 regions of Russia took part in adult races on J70 boats: Moscow, Moscow Region, St. Petersburg, Taganrog, Krasnodar, Tuapse, Sochi, Chechnya, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk and Novosibirsk.

In children regatta on «Optimists» were raced 15 boys and girls born in 2005-2009 years from 5 Black Sea towns: Sevastopol, Gelendzhik, Novorossiysk, Tuapse and Sochi.

The leaders in the top division according to the results of two stages are still representatives of the Chechen Republic - the team «Akhmat». Second place went to the Sochi crew - Black Sea, and third - to NAVIGATOR Trem from Moscow. Another team from Moscow - ZID art Sailing team - is a serious competition to the top three. Now they are only 0.025 points away from the third position in the overall rating.

The teams of the Premium Division will compete in Tuapse on April 28-28. The next leg of the National Sailing League will be held on the first weekend of July in Kazan.
