Russia is the champion!

The fleet of ClubSwan 50 was the largest in the regatta. There were 18 teams competing in this class at once.

The Russian team of Dmitry Rybolovlev Skorpios was the best in the division of ClubSwan 50 at the end of the regatta.

German team Niramo (left sailing team in the photo) lost only one point to the British team from Perhonen. But both crews lost 8 and 9 points to the Russians respectively.

Russian «Battleship» Vladimir Lubomirov finished the regatta exactly in the middle of the tournament table - in 9th place.

The best in the new class of ClubSwan 36 were Italians. The Thirtysix crew won four out of six races and naturally took the first place in the overall standings. The Croatian Go Racing team, which the Italians are catching up with in the photo, won the race only once. With 5 points behind, they took third place at the end of the regatta.

The special patented foil system is the main pride of ClubSwan 36. Thanks to them, the 10.5 meter sailboat is able to sail on windward courses with a roll of 22 degrees and 12-15 degrees.

Second place in ClubSwan 36 went to another Italian team - Sease. The team managed to break away from Go Racing by only one point.

And in the numerous ClubSwan 42 class, where 12 boats were racing, the Italian teams took the whole podium. The Mela crew became European champions by 6 points from their compatriots. Russian Daring Sisters team of Maxim Titarenko finished the competition on the penultimate line 11. The best result of the crew for the whole regatta, alas, was only 10th place.

Among seven crews competing in the Swan 45 class, the best was the German team Fever. The fight in this fleet was extremely intense, so the results of the past five races of 15 points in addition to Fever scored the Dutch Automotions and the Finns Blue Nights - EKE. The fate of the world championship title in this class had to be decided by analyzing the arrival of the teams. Fever was distinguished by three victories in the race out of five possible.

The success of the Italian teams in the divisions of ClubSwan and 36 ClubSwan 42 brought them another joint award - the Nations Trophy itself. The award was given to the best national teams based on the results of the country at the current regatta as well as during the Med League 2018, Med League 2019 and North European League. This combined system helped the Italians: at the end of the regatta in Mallorca, their result was the same as that of the Germans, but in the piggy bank had 2 extra points earned in previous competitions. But the Russians had one extra point that only helped them to compete with the Germans. Russia hasn't managed to reach the second position in the rating yet.

The largest regatta for mono sailboats manufactured by Finnish shipyard Nautor's Swan was held inMallorca on October8-12 . Russian team became world champions in ClubSwan 50 class and also world championship in Swan 45 class and European championship in ClubSwan 42 class was held within the framework of the regatta. A separate tiny fleet of just four teams raced the new, emerging 2018 ClubSwan 36.
