The Rêverie is the largest yacht since the Kingdom 5KR, built by the Italian company Benetti. The layout and interior of this five-deck yacht was designed by the famous English designer John Mufford. The yacht is finished in a classical style but with great opulence, using mahogany and rare marbles and furnished with Napoleon III-era furniture. The stern forms an enormous terrace over the water, thanks to the bathing platform which can be retracted. The hull is in steel and the superstructure in aluminum. She is equipped with twin 2,000 hp Caterpillar engines coupled to a turntable, giving her a top speed of 16.5 knots. «A crew of 29, 8 spacious cabins, helipad and a variety of» water toys ensure that the yacht is very well positioned in the world of charter cruising. Her current owner, Peter Sperling, (828th in the list of Europe's richest people, a fortune of $1.2 billion) has inherited, among other companies, the Apollo Group, which stands at the head of the country's four largest universities.
