About
Company history
Dieter Helwig built his first boat over 60 years ago. His main goal has always been speed, which he sought to improve in the boats of the company Hellwig, which was founded in 1957, by introducing new materials and using different engines.
Since the mid-90s, the company has been run by Michael Hammermeister, who honours the tradition established by Hellwig. The company produces small boats for day trips, paying as much attention to their quality and finish as the manufacturers of large models. Over the years, the shipyard has added cruise boats to its line of cabin boats.

Model range
All Hellwig ranges are named after Greek islands. In this way, Dieter Hellwig sought to convey a special mood filled with sea breeze, bright sunshine, coastal towns with white houses, a sense of relaxation and joy. The company's catalogue includes boats from 3 to 8 meters, designed for active or relaxing holidays in the coastal zone. Some popular models, such as the Milos V580, have several modifications.
Features .
All Hellwig boats are manufactured entirely by hand. Customization is available for each model according to customer requests. The basic material of the hulls is stainless steel, thanks to which Hellwig remains reliable, and the clever design makes the boats light enough.
