About

History of the company

The Italian family Gargiulo appeared on the shipbuilding market back in the 70s. At that time they supplied plastic parts to almost all well-known Italian shipbuilders. In 1983 the company decided to expand its sphere of influence and launched production of boats under Master Gommoni brand.

The yard management closely monitors all innovations in the shipbuilding industry and promptly integrates them into production. Thus the company was one of the first to introduce fiberglass into hulls for RIBs.

Status

Master Gommoni is still a family company and continues its work.

Production

For a long time the shipyard's production facilities were located in the province of Milan in Segrate, but in 1997 the factory was moved to the Mediterranean coast in Palermo. In addition to building boats under its own brand, the shipyard provides repair and tuning services for boats of other manufacturers.

Model range

The main and only direction of the company, chosen from the first days of its foundation, remains unchanged - the shipyard builds RIBs from 2.6 to 10 meters long for various purposes. The Leisure Boats range is designed for leisure. The boats of this series are equipped with sunbeds, some even have caddy cabins. Work Boats are more designed for professional purposes (diving, transportation, security, etc.). Here everything is simple and functional. The Fishing series is designed for fishing.

Features

The Master Gommoni shipyard uses mainly manual assembly, which allows to personally check each unit and element and reduce the rate of scrap. For those who want to emphasize individuality or sharpen the boat to their liking, there is a wide range of additional options, as well as the choice of colors of hull and interior design to suit their taste.
