Founded in 1986 by two Italian families Zappelli and Sarti, Tecnomar emerged as a symbol of nautical prowess. Their journey began with the acquisition of the Bruno Benetti shipyard, which set the stage for the birth of the Tecnomar brand.
Initially, the shipyard drew inspiration from Bruno Benetti's designs. However, in the early '90s, Tecnomar unveiled a distinctive identity with the introduction of the TB series. This transformation was a result of a creative synergy between Tecnomar's in-house design team and collaborations with renowned studios.
In 2009, Tecnomar entered a new era under the leadership of Giovanni Costantino, who restructured production and revitalised the management team. Two years later, the acquisition of Admiral, another illustrious Italian brand, paved the way for the creation of The Italian Sea Group, one of the world's premier shipbuilding conglomerates.
Today, Tecnomar continues to shape the maritime landscape with its innovative spirit and unwavering commitment to excellence.
Setting sail in Carrara, Tecnomar boasts a state-of-the-art production facility sprawled across 100,000 square meters. Comprising 11 cutting-edge workshops, a 200-meter dry dock (the Mediterranean's largest), and a berth spanning over 1,500 meters, Tecnomar's infrastructure is second to none. Additionally, a floating barge with a remarkable capacity of 2,200 tons enhances their capabilities.
Tecnomar's portfolio showcases a captivating range of luxury designer superyachts, ranging from 20 to 43,5 metres in length. Even within the EVO series, known for its smaller vessels, customization options abound. In recent years, Tecnomar has steadily increased the average size of models and stepped into the field of custom catamarans, e.g. This Is It.
In the pursuit of perfection, Tecnomar's design philosophy revolves around integrating cutting-edge technology.
