Pumula (better known as Bugamena during construction) is the youngest yacht built by the Royal Huisman yard, only launched in mid-April 2012. She has an absolutely classic exterior that takes spectators straight back to the "golden age of sailing" - the first half of the last century. However, appearances can be deceiving - the underwater part of the boat has a modern lowered keel with a bulb, which when raised allows the boat to enter relatively shallow harbors, and when lowered gives excellent sailing qualities on sharp courses. The sailing equipment is also modern, both in terms of sail plan and equipment, allowing a relatively small crew to easily handle giant sails.
