Wally Tiketitan Overview

Launched in 1998, she was hailed by her creator, Luca Bassani, as "the sailing cruiser of the future". At the time, she was in fact a very striking boat, with a crew of only four and a swinging keel, a clean deck with all winches and blocks removed, and an unusual "terrace on the sea", able to reach 20 knots of speed with a minimum of crew strain. Immediately after her creation, the boat won numerous awards and prizes. She suffered a major fire in Mallorca in February 2010, damaging her to a new owner. No one knows yet if the yacht will be fully restored. Another interesting fact is that the builder of the yacht is Green Marine, a British shipyard.
