Royal Huisman Sealen B Overview
Unfurled is a sailing yacht, which according to her client's wishes was created as a racing vessel for offshore regattas. Therefore the designer has carried out a series of extensive calculations for the underwater part and the definition of the keel profile. To improve the boat's underwater performance, there is an extendable daggerboard inside the keel that increases the overall draught to 5.7 meters. An interesting feature of the boat are her steering stations - the instrument panels are designed to pivot so that the helmsman can conveniently watch the readings from any position: a solution almost unheard of on a sailing yacht. The owner's stateroom space is incredible for a 95-foot yacht - yet Andrew Winch's ability to "cram what you can't cram" into a small space has long been a proverbial thing.
