Vitters Shipyard Guillemot Overview
Originally built for a British owner who named the yacht after the famous British admiral, Nelson, the boat spent the first years of her life sailing around the world with her owner on board, before being sold and having already changed owners and names several times. Because she was originally built as a private vessel, her layout stands out for her original designs, rarely seen on charter boats, which are usually more conservative. The most striking feature of the Drumbeg is the two-story owner's suite, which is located aft and has a separate sauna (a rarity on a sailing vessel). Another unusual detail for a yacht of this size is the five cabins on board. The interiors are decorated with Karelian birch, a wood that is not commonly found in superyacht interiors today.
