The Monaco Yacht Show starts on Wednesday, which means there is very little time left to prepare and plan: where to go and what to see in the Hercules harbour first.
In order not to get lost in all this splendour, it makes sense to download the updated Monaco Yacht Show app, which will show you the boats you are interested in on the map and pave the shortest way to them from your location.
A selection of 25 of the most interesting new yachts to be seen in Monaco from September 28th will also help.
Amore Mio
The brief of the 45-metre Amore Mio from Heesen states: «beach house on the sea». The owners chose to donate a spa pool to make room for yoga classes on the deck. Amore Mio is literally packed with water toys, smart storage systems and technical innovations, including a self-deployable «man overboard»system. This yacht is distinguished by her stupid nose and sharp hull lines designed by Omega Architects.
Baglietto 46M Fast
46M Fast is true to its name and can reach speeds up to 28 knots. This all-aluminium yacht is the result of the evolution of previous models of the Italian shipyard created by Francesco Paszkowski, who has been working with Baglietto for a long time. Sharp contours, rapid rectangular lines create the appearance of this modern vessel with many open deck spaces, including a chic lounge area at the bow.
Bijoux
The first hull of the new Matica semi-custom series from the Dutch shipyard Moonen, Bijoux, has a transformable transom that can be folded into a spacious beach club. The interiors of this 29.9m displacement yacht have been created in Adam Lay's studio. She was built for a very experienced yachtsman who intends to use her to conquer the Caribbean Sea.
Custom Line Navetta 37
The newest flagship Custom Line arrived in time to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Ferretti Group. A high bow and huge windows, including ribbon glazing on the upper deck, define the profile of this boat. The entire forward part of the main deck has been given to the owner and there is a full width master suite.
Dahlak
Equipped with the latest technology, which includes new generation electric winches and lithium polymer batteries to help you move silently, the 38.15-meter Dahlak proves once again Perini Navi's commitment to advanced technology in sailing. The carbon 51.4 meter mast is the star of the boat's sailing arms, supporting more than 1870 square meters of sails.
Domani
Domani is a 45m displacement yacht designed by Benetti for an experienced superyacht owner and launched in April. Visitors to the Monaco Yacht Show will hope to learn more about the interiors of this yacht created by Carlo Galeazzi - details so far have been kept secret. Key features of Domani include an opening sky lounge, a balcony in the owner's cabin and accommodation for ten guests divided into five suites.
Divine
The hallmark of this 40 metre yacht from the Palumbo Group is her excellent sailing characteristics. The yacht can reach 20 knots or follow in economy mode at cruising 15 knots. At cruising speed, the Divine, equipped with a diesel-electric propulsion system, «eats» only 215 litres of fuel per hour. The yacht has generous interior volumes to accommodate not only 10 passengers but also 8 crew members.
Elixir
The latest Amels 180 in the Limited Edition line of semi-custom yachts boasts a timeless exterior by Tim Heywood and interiors by Laura Sessa Design.
By choosing a Limited Edition yacht, the future owner will not be able to change the specification of the yacht, but will be able to customize the interiors by choosing an interior designer himself. This approach has allowed Amels to significantly accelerate the pace of construction without reducing the quality bar. According to Elixir's captain Simon Ladbrooke, very little time has really passed from decision to implementation. Elixir is now available for charter via Y.Co.
Galactica Super Nova
Russian oligarch Vagit Alekperov has ordered 70-meter Galactica Super Nova. He also owns the shipyard which has constructed a superyacht - Dutch Heesen. However, the personality of the owner is not the only interesting feature of Galactica Super Nova. To date, she is the largest yacht in the Fast Displacement hull type designed by Van Oossanen. And she is really «fast»: her top speed is an astounding 30 knots. She has a chic pool with a waterfall on board.
The yacht's mouth-watering exterior lines are painted by Espen Øino, while the Sinot Exclusive Yacht Designers are responsible for the unobtrusive color embedding in the interior.
Genesi
The first superyacht built by Wider, Genesi is one of the quietest and most economical in its class. Its compact diesel-electric unit, combined with azipods, allows speeds up to 15 knots. At a cruising speed of 11 knots, fuel consumption is only 70 litres per hour. The propulsion system takes up so little space that it has been moved to the bow of the ship, freeing up a lot of space at the stern. Wider's designers used this space wisely by setting up a 9.6-meter stern tender garage with a 90-square-meter beach club with a seven-meter seawater pool.
Giaola-Lu
The designers of Bilgin Yachts, a Turkish shipyard, had the task of creating a yacht with a high-tech interior. As a result, almost everything on the 46.8 meter Giaola-Lu is controlled from a smartphone: blinds are lowered and raised, lights, air conditioning, sound system, TVs and security cameras are turned on and off.
Gipsy
The first fully custom Otam yacht, Gipsy flaunting the layout from Tommaso Spadolini, is an excellent example of the wise use of all 32.5 meters available. The upper deck is fully dedicated to the owner. The free space on the main deck is occupied by a 40 square meter saloon with a cinema, a full width dining room and a galley with 25 square meters of storage space. On the lower deck there are four VIP cabins, each with its own bathroom.
Ipanema
The sleek lines of Ipanema's cherry-coloured hull, designed for the Mondomarine shipyard by Hot Lab Yacht & Design, will surely make you stop and take a closer look at this 49.2m yacht. In contrast to the sporting exterior, the interior of Ipanema is inspired by classics. Columns, friezes and bas-reliefs have been used to create over a dozen different types of marble.
Jetsetter
The first yacht of the new Dynamiq Yachts brand, Jetsetter, is definitely on the list of must-see yacht shows in Monaco. The highlight of this 38.6-metre yacht in the Grand Tourer series is her huge 20-metre long sundeck, which can be divided into 5 independent zones. In keeping with its name, the Jetsetter flies» at 21 knots thanks to Fortjes «drives.
Kamino
Kamino is a Feadship with the largest superstructure glazing area of any yacht at this shipyard. This 34 metre semi-displacement yacht from the new semi-custom range has high 2.45 metre ceilings in the main saloon in addition to huge windows. The light and airy interiors of the yacht have been created by London's Bannenberg & Rowell studio. Two 1800 hp MTU engines accelerate Kamino to 19 knots.
La Passion
La Passion is the first superyacht in the history of Sarp Yachts, and perhaps the first Turkish superyacht you will never guess that she is Turkish. The hull of this 46 meter yacht built in Antalya is made of steel and the superstructure is made of epoxy composite. Her attractive exterior will undoubtedly make many heads in Monaco turn around. The interiors are made by Adam Lay Studio. She can accommodate up to 12 guests aboard in 5 cabins.
Maybe
The new Metalships Rodman 59m is the largest yacht ever designed and built in Spain. She has a very decent range of -5,000 miles - and many amenities on board, including a gym, massage room, sauna and cinema. Crowning all this magnificence is the helicopter deck.
Namaste
The Overmarine shipyard is known for its outdoor sports yachts, while Namaste is her first attempt to try her hand at the Explorer segment. This Mangusta Oceano 42 in a steel hull enhanced by an aluminium superstructure is the first displacement yacht of the Italian shipyard and the first Overmarine with a focus on range. At 11 knots, Namaste can travel 4,000 miles without refueling. Designed by Alberto Mancini with a love of detail, the yacht enjoys interiors generously draped with linen, silk and soft leather.
Ouranos
The new Admiral C Force 50 Ouranos guarantees guests plenty of light and excellent sea views thanks to a special superstructure design that allows for maximum glazing of the interior spaces. Vertical windows in the master suite and glass bulwarks have also played a role. Uniellè Yacht Design's bold exterior with its clear geometry gives this yacht a unique personality.
Quinta Essentia
Built by the Italian Sea Group for the experienced owner, the Admiral E Motion 55 Quinta Essentia is equipped with a high-tech hybrid propulsion system that guarantees quietness and environmental friendliness. Each deck is dedicated to relaxation and enjoyment: a spa on the lower deck, a large pool with a waterfall on the main deck, a salon with indoor and outdoor seating areas on the upper deck, a gym and a whirlpool tub on the sun deck. The memorable appearance of the Quinta Essentia is designed by Dobroserdov Design.
Sara Star
Silver and sporty Sara Star is the first Mondomarine 60m long and is the new flagship of the yard. It is the first hull in a new range of fast and innovative yachts from the Italian manufacturer, from 40 to 60 meters. Lightweight, all-aluminium Sara Star is capable of speeds up to 21 knots. The exterior and interior of the boat was created by Luca Dini.
Shamanna
The flagship of the Finnish shipyard and one of the best Nautor's Swan yachts built, the Swan 115 combines the comfort of a cruising vessel with the performance of a racing sailboat. While the first hull of the Swan 115 had a semi-elevated saloon, the second - Shamanna - implements concepts of low profile and flat deck, gravitating towards laconicism and simplicity of lines. The hull was designed by Germán Frers with a glance at the sailing performance, resulting in a sailboat showing maximum wind speeds.
Sybaris
Built to order for the American Bill Duker, the 70-metre Sybaris is destined to become a landmark yacht for Perini Navi: the second largest yacht in the shipyard's history, with a hull from Philippe Briand, carbon fibre masts and 3,000 square metres of sails, she is almost certain to be the leader of superyacht regattas.
Vanish
Feadship's 66.25-metre Vanish conceals many secrets: it's a unique transom step design that creates the illusion of a staircase that descends smoothly from the beach club to the swim platform, and like a main staircase hanging in the air, resting on a glass wall, and a balcony in a master suite sliding out from under the starboard ramp. Enough to put it on the list for mandatory viewing.
Wally Casa
Launched earlier this year as the fourth case in the Wally Ace series, the 27.33-meter Wally Casa was developed by Wally Yachts in collaboration with Luca Bassani Design. The designers focused on making the most of the interior space. As a result, the three cabins of the Wally Casa have berths for 7 passengers. The layout includes a large master cabin with private terrace, VIP cabin with double bed and a cabin with pullman berths. The yacht has many outdoor seating areas, with a Jacuzzi on the forward main deck surrounded by sun loungers and an extended swim platform aft.
