Vicem Yachts presents a new range of megayachts

From vintage mahogany to practical and lightweight plastics: the Turkish shipyard Vicem Yachts, which has been building mahogany boats for 20 years, has now adopted composite panels. A new series of Vicem megayachts called Vulcan will be built in a modern shipyard in Antalya. The series will include three models of 32, 35 and 46 meters in length and Vicem promises to launch one hull for each model this and next year.

Relatively lightweight composite hulls should provide small yachts with speeds within 20 knots and the minimum possible draft for use in US and Bahamas waters. All boats will receive RINA and MCA certificates.

The shipyard has joined forces with Dutch naval architect and designer Frank Mulder, known for his boats Octopussy, Moonraker and... World Is Not Enough. The seriousness of the project is evidenced by the fact that Vicem has attracted such yacht design gurus as Wetzels Brown Partners and himself. Ken Freivogh. In matters of external color coating, style and design of yachts, the shipyard promises to fulfill any whim of the customer.

Vulcan 46m

This 46-metre semi-displacement boat accelerates to 25 knots, cruising at 12 knots and has a cruising range of 4,000 nautical miles. Weighing 460 tons, the boat is equipped with two MTU engines with an output of 3650 hp each.

The design feature is the atrium, which runs through all three decks from the deck itself, giving maximum natural light. The Owner's suite on the main deck is the full width of the boat. It accommodates an office, gym and Jacuzzi. There are also six guest cabins on the boat. The galley, dining area for 10 people and spacious lounge areas are located closer to the stern.

Vulcan 35m Trideck

The 35-meter boat accelerates to 21 knots and has a range of 1600 nautical miles at 12 knots cruising speed. Three decks can accommodate 12 guests. The layout of the boat includes both 5 and 6 cabins. The Owner's suite and two VIP cabins are located across the full width of the deck. On the main deck there is a captain's cabin and two double cabins with galley and crew rest area.

Aft folding garage transforms into an additional beach area. There are tenders hiding in the bow and an additional garage for water toys in the stern.

Vulcan 32m RPH

A special feature of this 32-meter boat is the raisedpilothouse, a closed control cabin. Thanks to this solution, the entire width of the main deck forward is occupied by the Owner's Suite and below it there is a VIP guest cabin on the lower deck. In addition to the five guest cabins, the boat has two crew cabins with access to the galley. The main tender is located on the flybridge, while the aft garage will accommodate two more jet skis. In rocking stabilization mode at 12 knots, the boat has a range of 1350 nautical miles.
