Best boats up to 25 feet

ItBoat Magazine continues its series of publications about the nominees of the «European Boat Award 2019». Earlier we talked about the nominees for the title of the best sailboat. From this issue onwards, we will talk about the nominees for the motorboat prize. Today we will introduce you to the short list selected by the jury for the category Best «Motorboat up to 25 feet . The award ceremony will take place at Boot Dusseldorf in 2019.

Nuva M 6 Open

Spanish shipyard Nuva Yachts this year presented a new model of pleasure boat M 6 Open. The six-metre boat has a laconic hi-tech design and the clever interior provides plenty of room for relaxation.

There is nothing random about it. When creating a boat for the control station, the manufacturer preferred a central console with built-in bathroom. Under the driver's seat there is a so-called kitchen corner, consisting of a sink and a single-burner stove. Aft of the boat there is a spacious U-shaped sofa and a dining table, which can be transformed into a sunbathing area.

Boston Whaler 170 Montauk

The new 170 Montauk boat from the Boston«whaler» has a traditional unsinkable hull with foam filler. She will be an excellent choice for fishing enthusiasts. The central console provides free movement on the boat, and comfortable fish cages, multiple rod holders and cup holders will make your stay comfortable and unforgettable.

The boat is delivered with a 90 hp engine, capable of accelerating it up to 35 knots. With 115 hp engine, the maximum speed is 39 knots.

Sting 730

The Sting 730, a 7.3 metre offshore SUV, was the largest boat of the yard. The boat is suitable for a quiet family holiday as well as for fishing, and the closed cabin with two berths allows not to interrupt the trip even in bad weather.

A wide range of additional options makes it possible to create a boat for every taste. A small bench at the stern is available as standard, which can be replaced by a pair of sofas and a spacious table. An additional control console can be installed outside the cabin to keep in touch with friends.

Nordkapp Noblesse 660

Like the majority of Nordkapp's Norwegian shipyard models, the Noblesse 660 was designed by the famous designer Espen Thorup. The boat has an aggressive sporty look, harmoniously combining sharp lines and smooth hull contours.

The panoramic windscreen and high sides provide good protection while the boat is in motion and the spacious double caddy cabin complements the comfort of the guests. Even in the basic configuration, the boat has everything you need, including a bathing platform, dining table, U-shaped sofa with many handbags and much more.

Glastron GTD 220

GTD 220 from American shipyard Glastron attracts attention with its flexibility. The manufacturer has tried to cover the entire target audience of the small boats segment.

Do you need a fishing boat? Please have a fisherman's kit with comfortable seats, holders for fishing rods and a trolling motor. Do you want to do water sports? The boat can be equipped with a wakeboarding tower or a ski pylon. Do you like a quiet holiday? And that can be arranged.

With all the extra features, the boat does not look ridiculous, all the options fit harmoniously and do not disturb the unity of appearance.
