Claudette Bonville
Designer description Claudette Bonville
History of the brand
Claudette Bonville started her own company in the late 1980s in South Florida, designing hotels and resort areas. A little later her portfolio expanded with cruise ships, and when the superyacht industry began to gain momentum, Claudette Bonville discovered a new direction.
Philosophy
First of all, the team tries to study carefully the tastes of the future owner, his lifestyle, the goals for which he buys a boat. The customer's understanding allows him to exceed his expectations and create a customized functional design for him.
Specialty
Along with the interior and exterior design of the superyachts, the team has participated in several refits. The portfolio also includes such famous hotels as the Marriott Delray Beach, Marriott Salt Lake City and Westin Key West.
Cooperation with shipyards
If a studio is invited to design interiors for Benetti boats, it says a lot. In addition to the renowned Italian shipyard, the portfolio includes yachts from equally respected shipbuilders - Palmer Johnson, CMN, Heesen, Moonen, Cantieri di Pisa, Trinity Yachts, Amels, Newcastle Marine, Hatteras.
Landmark projects
In 2018, the studio completed its largest project in its history - the 62.33-meter Faith by Feadship (when building Cakewalk). The company has also created interiors for Claire from Trinity Yachts (formerly Seahawk) and Paramour from CMN shipyard.
The team
In 2019, Claudette Bonville died of cancer. The firm is headed by Lauren Bonville, who is assisted by Cindy Gunther. The company continues to operate and is located in Fort Lauderdale, in the heart of American shipbuilding.
