Designer description Luca Dini
The history of the brand
One of the world's most famous designers, Luca Dini joined the yachting industry in 1987, starting his work in Florence. Over the next nine years the future master gained the necessary experience and became a key designer in the studio, only after which he started his own company, Luca Dini Design.
New ways of thinking, long-term vision and knowledge sharing are the cornerstones of the company. Luca Dini Design is a studio where ideas develop rapidly and where owners' and clients' dreams come true through design and architecture.
Luke did not immediately spill over into all areas, but developed each department of his company in a series, simultaneously accumulating knowledge and gradually increasing the range of services. Thus the interior design of superyachts was complemented by the exterior and then by naval architecture. All this is consolidated by a long-term partnership with manufacturers of furniture, fittings, materials and equipment.
Cooperation with shipyards
The studio's portfolio is impressive in size, with 77 superyachts built, ranging from high-speed to serious explorers. In almost a decade and a half, Luca's team has worked with most of the major shipyards including Benetti, Admiral, Mondomarine, Tecnomar, Cantieri Navali Lavagna, CBI Navi and others.
Luca Dini owns the 60-metre superyacht Sarastar, which has become the flagship of Mondomarine. The master has designed the exterior and interior for her. The boat is remembered for its dark grey streamlined hull and unusually luxurious interior spaces with contrasting surfaces and textures of white onyx, marble and crystal.
The studio gathered an impressive staff of broad profile, ready to solve any problems.
