Andrea Vallicelli
Designer description Andrea Vallicelli
Brand History
Andrea Vallicelli started yacht design in 1974 when he studied at the School of Architecture in Rome and in 1976 he founded his own studio, Vallicelli Design. In almost ten years he has designed around 150 cruise and racing boats, and statistically every sixth boat in production. Also impressive are the sporting achievements of his projects of that time.
Later, with the growing demand for large boats and the growing motor segment, Andrea took up superyacht design.
Philosophy
The master is sensitive to what the client wants from him. If you look at his projects, it is difficult to find the same boats. Everyone has an individuality, while Andrea understands current trends in the exterior and offers the best solution. A wealth of experience rarely fails a designer.
Specialization .
Today the main direction in which Andrea Vallicelli works is the design of superyacht exteriors. The portfolio is dominated by motor boats, but the studio started with sailing boats and still loves them.
Cooperation with shipyards
Over the years the company has worked with many leading shipyards, including CRN, Comar, ISA Yachts and others. With the latter, the studio has built up many years of cooperation, and the number of projects has long exceeded a dozen.
Landmark projects
One of the last striking examples was the Genesia boat. The commercial tugboat, having practically worked out its resource, did not go to the dump, but got a new life, having turned into a modern expedition-class superyacht. For such a spectacular transformation in 2018, the ship received a statue of Neptune from the prestigious Boat International.
The team is .
