History of the company

The French shipyard Arcoa Yachts was founded by the Couach family - hereditary yacht builders - in 1947. The history of the company goes back 50 years: in 1897 the company Moteurs Couach, which produced marine engines, was opened.

Arcoa Yachts was one of the first European shipyards to promote the concept of pleasure boats.

And already in 1950-1960s, when Europe was getting used to the beautiful life anew, the shipyard gained an excellent reputation. Above all, as a manufacturer of quality cruising yachts and runabouts, open-air boats for short water trips.

In 1967 Arcoa Yachts was taken over by a new group of investors. The model range was expanded and wood, as the material of the cases, was replaced by more modern fiberglass.

The shipyard stopped working.

Production .

The shipyard's production facilities were located in France in the city of Lorient, practically on the coast of the Bay of Biscay.

Model range

The Arcoa Yachts range includes five boats: from the classic 50's runabouts to a modern 18 metre hardtop yacht. The shipyard has also produced elegant and luxurious lobster boats and gozzos«,»designer motor yachts and outdoor models.

Almost 70 years after the construction of the first boats, the shipyard was able to maintain the basic concept laid down by the founders - style, quality and comfort.

Features

Arcoa Yachts was in many ways ahead of its competitors and became the standard of French shipbuilding style. The boats of the yard combine warm classics with modern technology and design.
