History of the company

Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats entered the market in 1989 with its first Nor-Tech 5000 V model, which broke a number of speed records and became legendary over time. The company's founders, Nils Johnson and Trond Schou, still manage the shipyard today. The first focuses on yacht design, the second on marketing and sales.

Since its inception, Nor-Tech has focused on the production of exclusive and high-speed boats, which, according to the creators, at that time there were no such boats either in mass production or by custom builders.

In 1999 the shipyard produced 5000 Supercat, which gave Nor-Tech the opportunity to enter a completely new market. In 2008, the first Super 80 Performance Yacht was launched. In 2009, the company introduced a range of centre console speed boats, which are now being sold as tenders for superyachts. Over the years, the company has created about 30 models. For today Nor-Tech possesses, probably, one of the widest collections of non-standard models in this segment of the industry.

The company headquarters are located close to the city. Fort MyersFlorida. The dealership network includes representatives in the USA, Sweden, France and the United States.Puerto Rico. Nor-Tech's order book in 2018 exceeded $17 million.

Model range

The Center Consoles range includes high-speed models 34-56 feet long with outboard or integrated motors.

The Vee Bottoms Collection brings together a variety of high-speed yachts from 32 to 52 feet in design and construction - the 320 MC, 420 Monte Carlo and 427 Ranabout at the B&Nbsp.retro-style 360 MCFlyer, 477 SPX and 527 sport offshore roadsters.

The Performance Yachts range offers clients the 80 Roadster open cockpit sports yacht and the 80 Sport Coupe closed cabin. The Catamarans range of 40-50 ft 4000 Roadster and 5200 Roadster speed catamarans.

Features

Nor-Tech boats are innovative design, comfortable as a cruising yacht, practical and at 60 knots or more. All models of this shipyard have robust GRP hulls (in some cases reinforced with Kevlar) of deep V type. Buyers have chosen Nor-Tech for both cruise and sports, with individual Nor-Tech models successfully competing in offshore racing. Nor-Tech also offers extensive customization opportunities.
