The history of the company

Latvia's Latitude Yachts shipyard, which started with minor refits and repairs, has grown over time into a major superyacht manufacturer specializing primarily in trimarans and catamarans.

The company claims that its main goal is to fulfill the dreams of people dreaming of the sea.

Engineers and designers of the brand are ready to implement the most daring and even crazy ideas.

In 2016, the company launched the 53-metre-long Galaxy and Galaxy of Happiness trimarans, which were the largest in the world at the time. The name of the ships is fully consistent with their appearance: they look more like spaceships than classic trimarans.

Latitude Yachts production facility is located in the Latvian capital Riga and consists of a 3,000 sqm workshop and 10,000 sqm adjacent premises.

In shipyard territory there is all necessary for a full cycle of manufacture - furnaces of composites, joiner's workshops, metal shops. This neighborhood allows Latitude Yachts to achieve consistency in the processes of different stages of production and high quality of the finished product.

Fleet

The shipyard's portfolio includes luxury sailing catamarans in addition to trimarans, as well as expeditionary vessels and tenders.

In February 2019, former Palmer Johnson Yachts designer Chulhun Park showed the first renderings of Valkyrie, a 229m superyacht designed for Latitude Yachts, which the designer called a floating «entertainment center.

Features

The main feature of Latitude Yachts is custom work: each project of the company is unique and created for a particular owner. The hulls of the yachts are mostly made of carbon fiber and fiberglass, so they remain light and strong. In our catalogue we often find catamarans and trimarans.

Also Latitude Yachts pays much attention to ecology: the company is the first in the world to produce passenger ferry on a hovercushion and with solar panels.
