Company history

DutchCraft Shipyards opened in 2019 as a subsidiary of the shipyard. Zeelander Yachtswhich has been successfully operating since 2002. The idea of the new brand came from the shipbuilder and yachtsman Sietse Koopmans on another voyage on a superyacht, after visiting 46 countries and travelling more than one hundred thousand nautical miles.

Coopmans has created a new brand based on the Zeelander experience and customer needs. He understood that a modern yacht must meet the rapidly changing needs of customers. DutchCraft's priorities were versatility, yacht safety, easy operation and a high level of comfort.

Status

The shipyard's working. The first yacht was launched in Cannes in September 2019.

Production .

The DutchCraft brand, as well as the mother shipyard Zeelander Yachts, are located in the southern Dutch town of Groot Ammers.

Model range

The shipyard produces tenders, flybridge gliding yachts and designer motor yachts. DutchCraft's yachts are designed for people who are active and eager to make the most of their time on the yacht.

The first model of the brand was DutchCraft 56, a 17-meter yacht built using composite materials.

«While travelling, I asked myself what I wanted to get from the yacht in return for the money spent. In the end I chose three main parameters: the possibility to invite large groups of friends on board, to use the maximum of options for relaxation and to spend a minimum of effort and money on maintenance. This inspired me to create the perfect all-purpose yacht for DutchCraft 56. You can fish, relax, dive, have fun, travel, and store a lot of water gadgets»on it," said Seats Coopmans.

Features

The basic principle of DutchCraft yachts is universality. The shipyard's founders have chosen the phrase «Ocean of Opportunity» as a slogan and seem to be committed to it.
