Company history

After gaining experience and making a name for himself in the maritime sector, Giuseppe Sorbera opened the Saver shipyard in 1986. The entrepreneur decided to choose the most profitable direction, in his opinion, the construction of small vessels up to 10 meters.

This size was not chosen by chance: the fact is that under Italian law owners of compact boats do not pay taxes.

The shipyard has quickly strengthened its position in the domestic market and then entered the international level, developing a dealer network and service direction.

Production

The company's production facilities are located in Sicily in Piraino and Joyosa-Marea. The total area of both facilities is about 10,000 square meters. In Piraino there are carpentry workshops and workshops where interior elements are made. The casting of the fibreglass bodies and the final assembly are carried out at the factory in Joyosa-Marea.

Model range

The lineup tightly covers the segment of small boats, here you can find a boat for any purpose. The portfolio includes cockpit cruise boats, models with semi-closed and closed salon, RIBs, boats with central console, walkaround layouts, fishing boats. The company offers boats with outboard motors and stationary engines.

Features

Unlike many competitors, Saver remained a fully Italian company, which is still owned by the Sorber family. It respects tradition and maintains high quality. All models are fully designed by the company's technical department and built under a unique control system.
